Students who are waiting for the results of class 12 exams are now heading towards higher education in the university. Students have many options for this. Different universities currently have different educational programs for those who want to ensure their future by studying IT education at the undergraduate level.
In this crowd, the students have been attracted towards the 'BIM' program lately. BIM (Bachelors in Information Management) is an educational program run under the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University.
Simply put, this is a program that teaches both IT and business. BIM has 8 semesters in 4 years. This includes 42 subjects of 126 credit hours.
It has 4 basic foundation courses. There are 12 courses in business and 26 courses in information and information technology.
Students who study this program can go ahead and do their work in any field of IT in the future.
You can work in any field including networking, security, system admin, database, software engineer, AI and quality assurance and work in any IT field including database designer, technical manpower, financial information system manager, analyst, information system manager
On the other hand, BIM students can go to the field of management such as banking, insurance, finance, government and non-government organizations and work in any sector of management and IT.
Entrepreneurship courses are offered at BIM, so students who take this program can become entrepreneurs themselves. Since BIM students have a good knowledge of both business and technology, instead of having two separate manpower for management and technology for working in any company, one can work with the same manpower with BIM.
There are currently more than 35 BIM colleges in Nepal. The students who have studied this subject are working in various fields including project manager, software engineer in various IT companies in Nepal. He is also working in multinational companies in the global market in high positions of IT and management
